Background
With Grade II listed façades, Regent Street is considered one of London’s most architecturally distinguished addresses. Visited by over 7.5 million tourists and shoppers every year, it’s also considered one of the busiest.
So when our client, opened a new store there, they were looking to create a truly top-notch shopping experience – including music as attention-grabbing as their chic, eye-catching style.
Challenge
Not only was our acoustic solution to blend effortlessly with the store’s striking Manhattan Loft-style aesthetics, it also had to deliver selectable audio profiles. In other words, different profiles suited to different times of day and live events which, when selected by store staff, would change the dynamics of the in-store sound and experience.
Solution
Following extensive consultation with the client’s project management and design team, we custom-designed a top spec audio system – Bose® speakers, digital amplifiers and a digital sound processor programmed specifically to enhance the natural acoustics of the Regent Street store. We also integrated a local input module enabling DJs to make full use of the superior speakers at in-store events.
Result
Providing impeccable quality of sound from main shop floor to fitting rooms, we helped create an elite retail experience worthy of one of retail’s most prestigious and iconic addresses.
